National Indigenous Education and Reconciliation Gathering

I was invited to speak at the National Indigenous Education and Reconciliation Gathering in Richmond, BC, about how to confront residential school denialism. At the end, I was gifted a beautiful knitted vest, made for me personally by Elder Wal’ceckwu, Marion Dixon, from the Nlaka’pamuux Nation. She chose the Thunderbird to give me some protection in the work to confront denialism.
