Invited talk in qathet on the legacy of Israel Wood Powell

I was honoured to be invited by members of the Tla’amin Nation, The Name Matters, and Vancouver Island University (Powell River) to speak in qathet at the Powell River Public Library in February. I gave a talk, based on my recent article, titled “Who Was Israel Wood Powell: Examining the Origins of Settler Colonial Rule in British Columbia.” The talk was recorded and can be watched on YouTube here.
