I gave two invited talks at Algoma University, the former Shingwauk Residential School

I was invited this week to give two lectures (one on IRS denialism, the other on Lessons in Legitimacy) at Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie. Algoma used to be the Shingwauk Residential School (1873-1970), and it was an honour to share some of my research in this setting and witness the work being done, by Survivors and the institution, to reclaim and transform the space to be closer to Shingwauk’s vision. I gave interviews for CTV and SooToday about my visit.
